What a human setter really costs.
Put in the base you pay, the commission percent, and the sales your setter closes in a month. The tool adds base plus commission into one monthly figure and stands it next to our two prices. Every output is arithmetic on your own numbers, so it is labelled modelled.
What you pay a human setter
Retainer or salary, before any commission.
Percent of the sales they bring in.
Total money booked through them in a month.
Questions
How much does a human setter cost per month?
It depends on two things: the base you agree and the commission you pay on what they close. This calculator adds those together so you see one monthly number. It does not guess a market rate, because rates vary a lot by country and by offer size.
What does this calculator leave out?
Hiring time, training time, management time, and the cost of starting over when a setter leaves. Those are real and they are hard to model honestly, so we name them instead of inventing a multiplier. Add your own estimate on top of the number here.
Is an AI setter always cheaper than a person?
No. If you pay a small base and a low commission, and your sales volume is modest, a person can cost less than $397 a month. The calculator will show that plainly. Cost is also only one side of it, since a human can do work software cannot.
What do the two SellByChat prices include?
Core is $397 a month and covers everything without the AI. AI plus Full Management is $597 a month and covers the AI setter built on your offer, tested before launch, and managed after it goes live. Both are flat, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
