What a slow reply costs you.

In short

Enter your monthly DM volume, how long you really take to reply, your close rate and your offer price. The tool models how much revenue goes cold while people wait. The assumptions behind it are printed in full under the result, and every figure is labelled modelled.

Questions

How does this calculator work out revenue at risk?

It treats a reply inside the first hour as losing nothing. After that, each extra hour is assumed to cost 5% of the conversations still alive, capped at 60% in total. That share is multiplied by your DM volume, your close rate and your offer price.

Where do the 5% and the 60% cap come from?

They are our assumptions, not measurements. We picked a cap because a late reply does not lose every lead, and coaches do close people they answered a day later. Because the inputs are assumptions, every output on this page is labelled modelled rather than measured.

What counts as my average reply time?

The honest gap between a message arriving and you answering it, including overnight. If you check DMs twice a day, your real average is several hours, not the few minutes it feels like when you are in the inbox.

How fast does a SellByChat setter reply?

Under 60 seconds, around the clock. That is the reason the model shows nothing at risk at that speed. Our setters go live in 7 days and have handled more than 42,000 DMs for coaches from 8K to 1.2M followers.
